September 3, 2011 / Fundraising Gala Night
A full house attended the Fundraiser which, by all accounts, was a successful and fun event geared towards school rejuvenation efforts. The event was held at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD.
April 15, 2011 / Scholarship Disbursement *
The final scholarship disbursement was issued on Friday, April 15, 2011 to two recipients: Victor Ezenwa Uzonicha and Anthony Ifeanyi Eluaka.
December 26, 2010 / Medical Mission
Members of Asaba Association, Inc., represented by Mrs. Anne Nwabukwu, Dr. Okonkwo and Dr. Nicholas Azinge, participated in the ANA annual medical mission. Attendance at the event was high, emphasizing the dire need for medical education, supplies and resources.
December 23, 2010 / Students Table/Chairs
Ten chairs and table combinations were delivered to AGGS. Mrs. Elizabeth Okafor, the Academic Secretary of AGGS acknowledged receipt expressed her gratitude to our members.
March 25, 2010 / Teachers Tables and Chairs
Ten teachers chairs and tables were delivered to AGGS and received by the principal, Mr. Fred Ijeh.
September 2009 / Hospital Beds
Twenty Seven (27) hospital beds and Twenty Four (24) Mattresses acquired by Asaba Association from Cottage Hills was delivered to Federal Medical Center. On February 22, 2010, the Assistant Director, Mr. Richard Eringwinbovo, in a letter to Asaba Association, expressed gratitude for the supply of the beds.
Note (*): Asaba Association has discontinued the scholarship awards and no cash awards distributions or payments will be made in the future as part of any Asaba Association programs.
